I began studying different horse training technique over the years and began to practice training horses. There was some technique that would work on some horses but not all. I soon discovered the John Lyons condition –response training method. The training method worked and I was seeing improvement with my horses. In 2006 I attended and completed the John Lyons certification programs. It taught me why our horse needs training and the how too gain better control of our horses. I have gained valuable training experience through the program to integrate with my previous horse training studies.

My horse training philosophies is that control of your horse is the single most important part of owning a horse. If you cannot control your horse then the horse will take control. We need to become the leader in the relationship with our horse as our horse is natural followers. To obtain these goals we need to be consistent patience and gain the horses respect. We accomplish this goal through movement of our horse. During training horses can only move six different ways Forward, Backwards, Left, Right, Up and down. During training we are going to ask the horse to move a body part or his whole body one of these direction. By controlling the direction these body parts move we can control the whole horse. I can teach you how to break down and control these body parts so you and your horse can feel safe out on the trail.
